WHAT IS AN AYURVEDIC SEASONAL CLEANSE?

An Ayurvedic Cleanse is a detox where for 10 days:

  • Eliminate gluten, dairy, sugar, alcohol, cafein, meat and packed foods
  • Eat seasonal vegetables, fruits as well as grains and legumes
  • Breakfast is warm-cooked-soft dishes like oatmeal (or other grains) porridge or stewed fruits or Ayurvedic crepes.
  • Lunch is mainly Kitchary which is a combination of rice or quinoa or other grains, mung beans or lentils and vegetables cooked in spices and ghee. There are other alternative delicious and easy to make recipes, too.
  • Dinners are most soups or soupy meals like vegetable stews
  • Although snacking is not advised, I give healthy snacking alternatives
  • Learn about how to use spices, their benefits and cooking techniques with seasonal masala mixes
  • Recipes for seasonal teas, tonics and other tricks that help detoxification
  • Apply Ayurvedic daily routine like oiling, meditation, journaling, yoga nidra meditation, etc

YOGA & MEDITATION CLASSES WITH CEYLAN

In addition to recorded classes, you can join Ceylan's online yoga classes for a week! Yoga and meditation will help your to focus on your cleanse, stay calmer and have stronger willpower throughout your journey. With gentle movements of yoga, toxins will easily released and you feel energised as well as rested.

We advise you to make a transitionary week before the Cleanse, cutting down sugar, alcohol, gluten, dairy, cafein, meat and packed food slowly in that week. You can then start your Cleanse and go for 10 days. After that there is a transition period of about a week again before going back to regular eating.

Winter cleansing was an introduction to ayurveda for me. I knew nothing before. During 10 days, I learnt lot of new products, spices, recipes and my dosha ( pitta imbalance according to test) I tried to eat accordingly and I am still eating like that. I have still lot to learn of course. The biggest difference is my digestion, I always had problems with digestion and now it is really much more better and I am really happy to join the program. Thank you very much. I am planning to join spring cleansing as well.

Loving the foods! I do not feel hungry and do not crave which has been amazing as I have always needed sugar and some alcohol everyday. In the beginning I was feeling tired but more energetic since yesterday. Loving the experience! Thank you Ceylan!!!🙏
